Join us every Saturday in October from 5pm - 7pm to see artists create beautiful murals live. This will be going on during our Fall Concert Series!
October 6 – Yai Cecream
Yai is a self-taught artist and designer from Madrid, Spain, who has spent the last 10 years in Phoenix creating art
digitally and in acrylic and spray paint on panels, canvas and murals. Her work is a mix of positive spiritual thinking,
geometric shapes, vibrant colors and psychedelic, cartoon-like characters. She conveys a sarcastic sense of humor
that looks to provoke a smile in the viewer. Her work has been exhibited in galleries worldwide, including the Phoenix
Art Museum. Yai has been a member of Palabra Art Collective and has been featured in Vice, Urban Outfitters’
UO blog, Phoenix New Times, Java Magazine and the Arizona Republic.
October 13 – Lauren Lee
Lauren Lee is an Arizona-based fine art painter and public art muralist who began her public art journey with her first
mural Three Birds in the center of downtown Phoenix's Roosevelt Row art district. The mural became an overnight
sensation with countless selfies being snapped in front of the gigantic, colorful birds, standing in a row and looking over
the art district. A succession of sold-out art shows and small public art projects boomed into a fulltime career in public
art, including massive murals of more than 3,000 square feet and three stories high. She has been featured on the cover
of Echo and Java magazines and was named one of Phoenix's Top 100 Creatives by the Phoenix New Times.
October 20 – Noelle Martinez
Noelle Martinez is a fine art painter and muralist based in Phoenix. In the last two years she has painted large-scale
public mural projects in Long Beach, California; Honolulu, Hawaii; Las Vegas, Nevada; Miami, Florida, and many other
cities across the United States. With her recent move from Los Angeles back to the Valley of The Sun, she is interested
in contributing to the growth of local arts and culture. She has worked with and assisted many renowned artists,
including Aaron De La Cruz, Fafi, Kevin Lyons and Patrick Martinez. She currently is a full-time, freelance artist looking
to bring innovative ideas to help community expansion.
